Franklin, Texas

6 years ago, Moore, OK was hit with catastrophic tornados. It was then that Creekside Christian Fellowship began a relationship with the Feed the Need Missions through disaster relief support. From then on, we assisted this ministry as it responded to multiple disasters in the state. We served alongside them in Van and Rowlett, and after the tax day and Memorial day floods in Wharton. Each time we served with them our love for “serving the servant” grew – so much that we established Creekside Cares Disaster Relief team

Feed the Need inspired, guided, and mentored us into the ministry we are today. Since then, we have served in the disaster areas of Baton Rouge, Brazoria, Damon, Wharton, Sinton, and Rockport, Texas. It’s been two years since Harvey and it’s now our time to serve again.

Saturday evening, the town of Franklin, Texas was hit by tornados. It has devastated the community and they are in need of urgent support. Feed the Need is already on the ground and serving this community. The need is so great they have called on us to support serve alongside of them – and we are blessed to be able to.

If you are interested in doing God’s work, feeding and supporting a community in need, please join Creekside Cares this week!

There are hotels available in Bryan/College Station. I found a Best Western for $89/night on  It shows Franklin is 45 minute drive north from there.

Creekside Cares asks if you have room in your vehicles please bring some items from the requested donations list. It doesn’t have to be a lot, but anything will help.

If you are unable to help at site, you can support both the ministries through prayer or monetary donations. Please see Feed The Needs’ website for details.
